Our Reforms

reforms

We have achieved a lot. But we recognise that we need to reform, so that we can increase access to finance. To do that, we are:

01

Streamlining systems

to deliver faster, easier to access climate finance.

02

Mobilising private capital

by providing patient, long-term capital to crowd-in private sector investment.

03

Supporting the most vulnerable

ensuring that under-served countries have access to finance, and supporting the most vulnerable communities around the world.

04

Moving to a country-owned, programmatic approach

by shifting from individual projects to large-scale programs based on country-owned investment planning, supported by our Readiness Programme.

GCF's role is more crucial than ever. We are transforming to deliver more accessible and efficient climate finance to provide impactful climate investments at scale to those most in need.
